Its Time

Its time. He is Suffering.

When do you know when...

OK, kinda sounds strange, but, I wonder when or how will I know when its time. I hate for Ruger to be in pain and last night, he was in pain. But, this morning, he was OK, not all better, but OK. I just cant handle knowing that something is eating him away and that I dont know how he feels or if he is just a little un comfortable or totally in pain. He has never been really bad about crawling in my lap when he doesnt feel good, but, last night he did.

TODAY WAS MY BIRTHDAY!!!!

Today was my 29th birthday!! I really had a pretty good day! I was planning on utilizing my comp time that I will accumulate on Friday, but, I ended up working through lunch and only getting out of the office by 3:15 meaning that I accumulated 15 more comp minutes! i managed to figure out my new blackberry pearl. I also added pictures, video and music to the phone!!! I went home to some eye gouging wind and decided to unload the feed in the back of my truck.....Well, got a little stuck, but, I got out before Jeff came home, LOL. Then, when he got home, we went and ate Mexican food and came home. Jeff got me several great presents!!! For one, he paid for my upgrade for my saddle ($460). I was not expecting anything else. But, he knows me well! He got me a really cool candle holder that looks like a log with a cut out that shows a barrel racer! He also got an awesome leather frame with hair on it!!! I will take some pictures and post them! I was soooooooo Excited!!!!

Ah, Sunday

Well, its Sunday. The weekend is over and I have a busy week ahead. Too bad I am running fever....Sigh. The sun is finally coming out!!! I have plans for the day which include riding the horses and roaching Hick's mane. That turd pulled his mane out!!! It stands straight up on his neck!!! YUCK! Oh, and I am thinking that the boys~ Hick, Gabe, Joe, Ellis, Colt and Ruger all need baths. I may leave the Dogs alone, but, the horses are really BAD!!!! Mud everywhere!!!! Oh, and their stalls are NASTY!!!!!
Anyhow, right now I am enjoying my coffee, making apple bread, and trying to decide if I need more sleep or to get off my butt. I HATE being sick!!!!

My Hubby and the Calf.....

Jeff decided to play Cowboy today and took off on Gabe with a rope..... Rollin in the floor Whisle I guess I should first mention that my hubby can handle a horse, but, it does not look very pretty.....He kinda sits stiff and only knows how to ride with one hand.....Anyhow, our neighbor had a calf get snared in the trap he set for a bobcat that was eating his chickens... Investagate Investagate Investagate Still not sure why he did that knowing there was not a fence between the chickens and the cows.....But, the poor calf was running around with a snare on his leg. Investagate Investagate Investagate Investagate So, Jeff came in, while I was laying down with fever, and asked me if I still wanted Gabe worked to day.... Investagate Investagate Investagate I was like, WHY?Huh Well, I told him he could ride Gabe over there if he would let me saddle him and would think about how "special" Gabe is.....Now, Gabe is a jam up cow horse. He likes to bite them to make them run FASTER!!! " border="0"> Add that and a novice rider and you get disaster..... Crazy 2 Crazy 2 Gabe can also split hard when the calf does....Good news is that Jeff never got close enough to the calf for Gabe to leave him in the mud. YEAH YEAH YEAH YEAH IDK what they did about the calf...But, Gabe is OK.... Wink
