GABE!!!!!!! WHAT DID YOU DO NOW!!!!!!!!!
OK, i wanted to pony my 3yo off of Gabe today so, I caught both of them and started to brush Gabe down to saddle. He kept picking up his left hind leg and shaking it at me. I went to the right hand side, still brushing and looked down only to find that he is all cut up. Yeah.....F Great!!! Well, I went ahead and saddled the 3yo with the intentions on riding out into the pasture to figure out what got him so bad. I decided to put the mares up so that they dont come near Hick (3yo) cause he is the underdog in the pasture. I walked out into the barn and found where Gabe had "cast" himself under the trough in the barn......
He had 10 acres of pasture and he wanted to roll in the barn 
Well, I went ahead and Rode Hick who was awesome today! Then, i doctored poor Gabe the Wussy. Hardtimes called me after I sent her a picture and said that I needed to make him move because he is such a wussy and I need to get circulation in that hock. If I wait, he will be gimping Bad Wednesday....So, I worked him around and low and behold, he was sound after the first 3 minutes of complaining.
Maybe I do make him a wussy!!!

I Have Mastered the Art of Working In the Round Pen
Well, Today....my head was still spinning. So, Fat Boy aka Gabe got a new kind of work out. I put his boots on, took him into the round pen and gave him a 30 minute work out while I sat on the ground...yup! I sat on my Butt and watched Gabe work out. I cant help it. That spinning horse and my spinning head just makes me want to puke right now. I would have gotten on him, but, i cant even walk a straight line to save my life. I think my ears are clearing out so my sinuses are just moving non-stop. It makes me sick.
Anyhow, here is a picture of Gabe being a good boy and working out for Momma.

So, I havent posted in a while....
OK, here is a post cause someone said I am not posting enough!!!
Big gripe for the day. Yup, I am sick again. I have a double ear infection and this time its actual puss in the ears. Yuck. I spike a fever, I go down. YAY. I decide to work Gabe and Hick in the round pen last night. Bad idea. Something about horses going in circles around me.....yeah, made me want to puke. So, Bad idea.
This morning, I woke up at 6:30 am with a horrible back ache. Chalk it up to "that time of the month" even though I have gone over 65 days with out that time...maybe I am getting close. Anyhow, i was in horrible pain, so, I got up and sat on the couch. Then, I decided to go get donuts, milk, eggs and stuff. I got to the store before 7am....when they open....so, i went for the donut shop first. $13 later....yeah, that was expensive!!! I got to go to the Grocery store. I came home and Jeff came in from hunting. He thought i went to Ace cause they are having a big sale. I asked when they opened and he said 7am, so, I went back to town...Good thing the town is only 3 miles from the house....anyhow, I bought Batteries for the shock collar for colt, hooks to hang in the trailer for towels and such....Halters when i am not living in it. Then I bought wormer for the herd. Somehow, I spent $113. Ouch. I came home and Ruger had a snotty nose on the side where he has no eye due to a massive abscess. Yeah, not good news. I ran him to town to get some more antibiotics. Doc seems to think its good that its on his sinus cavity cause it will drain. I dunno. I am worried again.
Anyhow, my next issue is that Jeff went and bought more lumber to finish out two stalls....One for Hick and one for Joe.....That way if there is a freeze, i can put Blankets on them. Well, he unloaded the truck and took off to Jarid's house to get a trailer to move his washer/dryer and his ford that does not run. That was at 2pm. I was on the couch with the head swimming thing....I asked that he please be home to feed cause I could not do it. Every time I go out there, my fever spikes. Well, its 7:30pm and no Jeff. Needless to say I feed two hours ago cause I needed to tend to Gabe's puncture as well. I cleaned his stall and filled his water and fed everyone. Yeah, not good for sick peeps to do.....Still have not heard a word from Jeff.
Oh, to top it all off, he wants to go to Llano to hunt with his Dad. Yeah, he wants to go next weekend. We have a million things to do......including sorting through his crap to make this house look normal again....including making room for the fold out couch, putting the TV in the bed room, getting the Dog kennel out of the living room, putting the entertainment center back together, and a number of other crap. I reminded him that Mom will be in town a week from Wednesday and asked that he get this crap done before he leaves town for hunting.....Fair right??? Well, he is still out.......Oh and that he finishes the stalls ASAP cause I think we will be in for a freeze soon and I want to be able to stall my boys so that the mares wont run them out of the barn. Sigh....Was that good enough???

My Good Day!!!!
Well, I got all the ponies caught and got all but Hick's feet done cause he did not need to be done
" border="0"> Gabe the Babe could only get front shoes since he blew half his foot off with an abscess. 
The Farrier said more than 6 weeks before we can fix that...Anyhow, Tottie, my weanling filly was the best outta everyone!!!! Last time she threw the guy who was holding her half way across the barn...not so good. This time, she stood perfect and picked all 4 feet up and never once jerked away from him!!!! I was totally impressed! Then along with that, she stood tied for over and hour 
and never set back or anything!!! That was only the second time she has ever been tied and the first was next to Mamma...so, she did good then too, but only cause her Mom told her too. Today, Mom was gone and she stood tied!!! On top of that, I went to town and got feed, dog food, money from the saddle I just sold COD, a new pair of jeans cause I got too skinny for all my other jeans and a new pair of boots. They were only $79!!! I bought those new Justin Gypsy's...tall tops. I like them!!! I also picked up a rope halter and 3 for 1tex who came over and taught Joe how to lounge!!! 
At first, he did just like he was doing with me. She just kept at the horse whispering and eventually, after 45 minutes, he was going around her both directions!! 
That was too awesome!!!

I Rode Hick Again Tonight!
I am home and just got done riding my 3yo Hick.
He rode even better today!!! I had him working the poles, loping circles (in the round pen) and we were picking up our shoulder and doing some nice hind end pivots! He was starting to free up a little too. I need to get him over to the Chiro/massage therapist. He seems to be really sore in his withers. I feel bad for even riding him! But, he is not that sore and we really only walked and trotted!!! I posted the trot too. We had a great little 30 minute work out!!! I decided to give Gabe the night off cause his feet are long and are going to get done Friday. " border="0"> He stumbles when his toes get long and the last thing I need is a LAME PONY!!!
